I was just about to jump in the van and go claim my dessert when my burner phone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was Jay. Fuck! I was lost in paradise and I almost forgot about the hell that was searching for me. “Fuck I better take it,” I said to myself. I answered the phone with: “Hey, what up man?”

“Hey, I’m well. What up with you?”

“You sound chipper,” I said.

“Well, I got some good news.”

“Oh yeah, what’s that?”

“Brian’s dead.”

“What?!”

“Yup, ding dong the dick is dead,” Jay said.

“How? When?”

“We were on a run going to Vegas and he clipped the front end of a semi while trying to split lanes. He was thrown up and landed on his neck, he’s done dead.”

“Damn, that’s fucking crazy.”

“Yeah, but fuck that guy, he had it coming.”

“Totally, he was a fucking sociopath killer.”

“Well, that’s one less monkey on your back.”

“Wow, yeah. So why don’t you go kill Razor and I’ll be home free.”

“Yeah, wishful thinking,” Jay said.

“So, is everyone still on the lookout for me?”

“Oh yeah, you’re still fucked for sure.”

“Oh great, thanks.”

“Look, man, just stay where you are and lay low. I know you can’t tell me where you are, but I hope you’re holding up okay.”

“I’m doing better than I expected under the circumstances. Dude, can’t you just tell everyone what happened?”

“You know I can’t and If I did I would be burned for helping you and conspiring against a higher-up member. Not to mention, without you I have no way of proving it. Unless you want to come back and show everyone where the body is.”

“Uh yeah, I see your point. I think I’ll just stay gone.”

“Yeah, good plan.”

“About that body, has anyone gone missing lately?”

“Not yet, but if he’s connected or was connected to the club we’ll hear something. I’ll keep you posted and who knows? Maybe Razor will get hit by a semi too,” Jay laughed.

“Yeah, right. Either way, I could never come back.”

“Yeah, but at least there wouldn’t be anyone left who wants you dead.”

“You know, I don’t want to wish death on anyone but fuck, I hope that fucking asshole eats a bullet or someone feeds him one.”

“Well, considering the shit Razor has pulled over the years it’s a fucking miracle he’s still alive.”

“Yeah, no shit. Thanks Jay for letting me know.”

“I got your back man.”

“Thanks.”

“Later.”

“Yeah, later dude.”
